Sticky Posts – hidden, but found

I thought I’d seen this feature somewhere, but when I went into Edit I couldn’t see it anywhere, so was beginning to think that maybe it’s only available with certain themes and not with this one. Turns out that it is available, but not where you’d expect to find it… (at least not where I was expecting to find it…) It’s kind of hidden, but I’ll let you in on the secret :).

In the Dashboard go to Posts, then when you choose a post and click “quick edit” underneath that post, you will see on the right hand side, under the tags etc, a checkbox for the option to “make this post sticky” – click in that box, click Update, and Bob, as they say, is your uncle.

A sticky post stays at the top even when it’s no longer the most recent post, so it’s handy for things you want to draw attention to.
