Trying to help isn’t always helpful

Sometimes the best thing you can do for a person is not to keep trying to help them, but to refer them to someone else who really can help.

  1. You have your reason here, but to the one who need help, any kind is heplful, the more the better.

    • What I was trying to say is this: sometimes, in trying to help someone, we’re not really being very helpful – it may be that we just don’t have the necessarily skills, or professional expertise, or physical strength, just to name a few examples. So there are times when it’s actually more helpful if we acknowledge our limitations and refer the person to someone else who is more capable of providing them with the help they really need.
